Manhattan: Vesey Street - Greenwich Street

Vesey Street, north side, at Greenwich Street and West Broadway. At the left are two frame buildings to the west of Greenwich Street. These are No's. 76-8 and 74 Vesey Street. The Ninth Avenue "El" is on Greenwich Street. East of same is a triangular structure that separates this thoroughfare from West Broadway. The entire block beyond is being cleared in View 2. Upon this site rose the new downtown Federal office building and Post Office. In the background is the distinctive Woolworth Building. View 2 includes the later Transportation Building.
