East New York, Brooklyn: Shown are four general views across the East New York area of Brooklyn, looking south and southeast (view4) from the high ground in Highland Park. In the lower right hand corner of view 1 can be seen the old Isaac Cornell Schenck House on the north side of Jamaica Avenue. This part of the park was formerly the Schenck farm. In the left center is Public School No. 108, on Linwood Street, The two streets, prominently seen running perpendicular to Jamaica Avenue, are Elton (left) and Cleveland Streets. In view 4 appears also the Interborough Parkway (autos) which is in the Queens part of the park. Wilberforce Eames, Collection 1916 Views 1-4
