Islands - Plumb Island - East Knapp Street - Brooklyn.

Plumb Island, viewed eastward from about Knapp Street, showing the offices of the Merritt, Chapman and Scott Corp.) once used by the Armand Renting Corporation, when it leased half the Island from the City of New York. This Island is now part of the mainland. Note the temporary bridge to allow pedestrians to get to the Island, while the sand pumps fill in the foreground.
