Queens: 69th Avenue - Queens Boulevard

At the N.E. corner of Sixty-ninth Avenue and Queens Boulevard, showing the four views of the Ascan Bakus house. In 1923 the Cord Meyer Development Company was the owner. Oscar William Christian Backus was born in 1814 and came to this country in 1829. He died March 18, 1880. He married Mary A. Beetham. A daughter, Mary Eliza, married in 1874 Dr. Howard Lever.
