Manhattan: 44th Street (West) - Broadway

West 44th Street, north side, west from the Court, midway between Broadway and Eighth Ave. to the latter, showing in the foreground two theatres, the Shubert and the Majestic. The aforementioned Court, whose southern terminus appears on the right is located at the rear of the Astor Hotel and runs northward to 45th Street. The theatres bear street numbers 223 and 245 respectively. This set consists of a positive and a negative view. September 1935. W.P.A. Photo.
