Bronx: Hunts Point Avenue - Garrison Avenue

(1) 891-899 Hunts Point Ave., at the S.W. corner of Garrison Ave.,showing "The Locusts" on the former Edward G. Faile estate. It was the home of Walter Chisholm, tutor to the Faile Family and Sir Walter Scott. The house dates back to the days of the American Revolution. The site is now occupied by a 5-story apartment house.
