Manhattan: Rockefeller Plaza - 49th Street

(1) Rockefeller Plaza, south from West 51st to 49th Streets. Shown under construction, is the new (opened March 1937) 45-story office building on the south side of 49th Street, west of Fifth Ave. At the completion of this building, this thoroughfare (Rockefeller Plaza) will extend to 48th Street.
