Manhattan: Broadway - Fulton Street

Broadway, north from no. 200. "Rare view showing the building of the New York Post Office." The fourth story of the Post Office was completed Oct. 1, 1873 (Stokes, Iconography of Manhattan Island, v.6 p.542). This view must date from early 1873.
