Manhattan: 13th Street - 10th Avenue

(1) At the intersection of Tenth (right), and Eleventh (left) Aves., at West 13th Street, and looking northward. The 3-story house at the apex, is known as the Strand Hotel, and bears Nos. 2-4 Eleventh Ave., as well as No. 500 West 14th Street. Beyond that, is seen, the National Biscuit Co. plant at West 15th extending to 16th Streets, and facing on both Aves. Two bridges connect the main plant with a new annex, through which pass the elevated tracks of the New York Central R.R. March 31, 1937. P. L. Sperr.
