Manhattan: Water Street - Roosevelt Street

(1) Water Street, west from and including Roosevelt, to but not including Dover Streets. The building on the N.W. corner is a frame house. The Brooklyn Bridge is seen in the background. Also shown is Roosevelt Street, at Water Street. Note the Jerry McAuley Mission at Nos. 312-314, west of Roosevelt Street. The buildings on either side of said Mission are 1-story structures. Water Street changes its direction to run arbitrarily north and south when south of the Brooklyn Bridge. September 7, 1927. P. L. Sperr.
