Celebrations, parades and Municipal Events: Parade (unknown) passing the Sherman statue on Fifth Avenue at 59th Street. (Mount 2). Four views photographed in a northward direction up the Avenue to show details of a parade moving southward on same. The car tracks see are of the crosstown line at 59th Street. The other two views are below this point and one sees a portion of the old Hotel Savoy at the S.E. corner of 59th Street. This structure, demolished in 1924 and replaced with the modern Savoy-Plaza Hotel, dates these photos. prior to 1924 Views: 1-2-3-4
