2409-2423 Cropsey Ave., east side, between Twenty Fourth Ave., and Bay 37th Street. The frame house at right, No. 2423 Cropsey Ave., at the corner of Bay 37th Street, is sunken because of the recent raising of all streets in that neighborhood. Some homes are eight and ten feet below the street level. April 27, 1935. P. L. Sperr.
