Manhattan: Mulberry Street - Prince Street
Mulberry Street, at the N.E. corner of Prince Street, showing St. Patrick's R. C. Church. The cornerstone of this structure, formerly The Cathedral, was laid June 8, 1809 and consecrated by Bishop Cheverus of Boston, on May 4, 1815; it being completed in the latter year. In the churchyard is the tomb of Valentine Sherry. Here also are buried Francis Delmonico and Stephen Jumel. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection. February 1924.
