Manhattan: Park Avenue - 53rd Street

Park Avenue, east side, between 54th and 53rd Streets, showing No. 383, one of the earliest of the modern apartment houses in this section, nearing completion. Another one will shortly rise alongside it, and one in the block immediately to the South, from 53rd to 52nd Streets, where the Steinway Factory has just been demolished; but the small house on the N.E. corner of 53rd Street will not be replaced till 1924. 1911.
