Queens: Cypress Hills Street - 60th Lane

Cypress Hills Street (formerly Fresh Pond Road), west side, between 60th Lane and Myrtle Ave., showing in a set of four views the home and barn of Peter De Bevoise from 1860-1873. A George Pine occupied same about 1850. This house was demolished in 1923, the barn soon following; a one story garage occupying the site in 1929. Note View No. 3 shows the house to be a shambles while the barn remains. Seen in this latter view and across clearance are buildings on the west side of 64th Street between the aforementioned streets. 1922. Views 1,2 & 4. View 3: March 1923. Eugene L.
