Transportation - Railroads - New York Central Railroad - Trains.

Transportation: The N. Y. C. R. R.'s trains on Tenth Avenue at W. 21st and 25th Streets. The former point is where the new R. C. Church of the Guardian Angel stands. Through the cooperation of the City and the R. R. Co. this traffic hazzard was removed in 1932, culminating years of study and effort. An elevated roadbed that continues into an open Cut is now utilized. This work was a major part of the West Side Improvement Project.
