Manhattan: Cherry Street - Gouverneur Street

Cherry Street, east from and across Gouverneur Street, showing demolition in progress for a general slum clearance project, under the joint auspices of the City and the U. S. government. These sites will be improved by the New East River Drive, Vladeck Houses and Vladeck City Houses. At the left is a small park at the rear of P. S. No. 31.
