Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 49th Street

(1) 444 Madison Avenue, west side, from 49th to 50th Streets, showing rear view of building. The camera is pointed in a northeasterly direction. In both views the Hell Gate Bridge is dimly seen on the horizon. The body and tower of the building have been completed. In the right center background is the R.C.A. tower on the west side of Lexington Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets. The Queensboro Bridge may be seen between these buildings. July 11, 1931. P.L.
