Manhattan: Washington Square - Thompson Street

Art Exhibition, Washington Square South at the S.E. corner of Thompson Street, seen from Thompson Street, with the Washington Arch, 11-13 Washington Square North, and the One Fifth Avenue apartment hotel, in the background. The vacant lot results from the demolition of 58 (the old frame house) and 59-60 Washington Square South, about 1927. It will later be used for tennis courts.
