Manhattan: Park Avenue - 34th Street (East)

Park Avenue, west side, from East 34th to 35th Street's, showing prominently the Community Church at the N. E. corner of the first point. At the right is the Church of the Covenant at a similar location at 35th Street. In the foreground is the former railroad tunnel that extends to 42nd Street. At the date of this photo it is being used for street-cars. On the left margin is a private dwelling occupying a portion of the site of the future Hotel Vanderbilt.
