Queens: Little Neck Parkway - Northern Boulevard

Little Neck Parkway, east side, south of Northern Boulevard, showing, in the foreground, a former hotel operated by Van Nostrand and Company in 1896. John Hoagland ran the Hotel about 1875 and one spell later. Van Nostrand conducted a general store, to the right of the hotel, with B. W. Schenck. They sold out to Sutphin Brothers in 1895. The Manhattan Bank Branch is said to be on the site in 1934. This is a set of two views taken at slightly different angles. June 1924 Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
