Queens: Flushing Avenue - Woodward Avenue

In the background is the 4-story structure of the Ideal Chair Company, which faces on Metropolitan Ave. To the right of it, on the north side of Metropolitan Ave., between 49th and 50th Streets, is an old house (cupola thereon). In front of the factory building is a peaked-roof house, known as the Gabriel house which was erected by Todd the publisher; He sold to one McGovern, who sold it to H.C.
