Manhattan: Hudson Street - 13th Street (West)

(1) Hudson Street, west side, north of and including West 13th Street, showing the Herring Building occupying the triangular area caused by the convergence of Hudson Street and Ninth Ave. (elevated line thereon) at 14th Street. At the latter point appears a station bearing that designation. The vacant lot shown was caused by the demolition of the 7-story Wing Building. Across this is seen the 6-story Rich Building. Shown on the right (flag atop) is a portion of the National Biscuit Co. plant; this portion being at the N.W. corner of Ninth Ave. and West 15th Street. April 10, 1934. P. L. Sperr.
