138 Bank Street, at the S.E. corner of Washington Street, showing an abandoned 3 story structure, the demolition of which was requested by the donor of this photo on January 24, 1936. This was accomplished as W.P.A project under the supervision of the Municipal Housing Authority. The lower west side of this building appears here, same constituting Washington Street frontage. 1936 Gift of Committee on Housing Charity Organisation Society
