Bronx: Pelham Bay Park - Joshua Pell Mansion.

Pelham Bay Park (Bronx): A view of the Joshua Pell Mansion, one of the Pell houses, also known as the Collins House, dating back to pre-Revolutionary days. It is situated on the east side of Prospect Avenue (also known as the Split Rock Road), midway between the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad tracks and the city line of Pelham, Westchester County. Another Pell Mansion, said to be the most imposing of all, is located on the west side of Wolf's Lane, at Iden Avenue, on the Isaac Rodman property (1910 map), in Pelham, Westchester County. 1891 Gift of Urbrock Collection
