Manhattan: Washington Place - Greene Street
Washington Place, north side, west from Green Street to Washington Square East. The white marble structure at the latter point is the University of the City of New York (1832-5). In the 1890's this building will be removed and a new one erected here that will be partially used for commercial purposes. At the left margin is the park identifying this locale.
