Bronx: Prospect Avenue - 165th Street (East)

(1) Prospect Avenue, at the S.W. corner of E. 165th Street, showing the Woodstock Presbyterian Church. The church was closed after Easter Day, 1938 and its congregation was combined with the Home Street Presbyterian Church. The action of the Presbyterian was taken as a result of the shifting of populations, which caused the original congregation to diminish seriously in recent years.
