Brooklyn: Kings Highway - Tilden Avenue

King's Highway, at the S.E. corner of Tilden Ave., showing the Flatlands Meck Sabbath Church. The congregation incorporated as a Sabbath School in 1867, and erected on land donated by John Romaon. Because of the widening of King's Highway, the church had to be moved back. This view shows it at its new location. May 1925. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection
