Manhattan: Varick Street - Laight Street

(1) Varick Street (left to right), at adjoining and south of the S.E. corner of Laight Street, showing a portion of St. John's Chapel and the church yard. The church and the 3-story house adjoining it have been demolished and its site is now (1937) occupied by station V of the United States Post Office. About 1914. Gift of Samuel Landsman. (2) A portion of the same, showing the lower part of the 3-story house seen in view No. 1. It was then known as Trinity Hospital. About 1914. Gift of Samuel Landsman.
