Manhattan: 177th Street (West) - St. Nicholas Avenue

I attended P.S. 115 back in the 1930's; this picture is looking up towards St. Nicholas Ave. Used to have bagel vendors outside the school when classes dismissed - they were a treat! My Aunt & Uncle Pappas lived @ 601 W. 177th St. (the building in the lower left of the photo) on the 6th floor, and I lived in an apartment on the corner of 177th St. and Amsterdam Ave.
