Manhattan: Park Avenue - 132nd Street

The S.W. corner of East 133rd Street is now an empty lot as a result of the demolition of three houses which formerly occupied this site (see view 1). Also note the empty space (in centre of view) caused by the demolition of one of the houses. Also visible (on extreme left) is a portion of the elevated structure of the New York Central Railroad which, at this point, makes a sharp bend eastward and heads across the Harlem River.
