Manhattan: 137th Street - 229th Street

Riverside Park: A set of 2 views in a northward direction and showing prominently the New York Central Railroad tracks and yard that occupy the marginal lands between the Park proper and the North (Hudson) River. View No. 1 is northward from 137th Street and No. 2 from 145th Street. This small slope that bears the name Riverside Park is a separate unit from its better known portion and occupies a strip between West 135th and 153rd Streets, being separated by the valley at 125th Street, over which the Drive is carried by a viaduct. In the fall of 1937 the West Side Improvement Project will be completed and a radical change effected in this area.
