Manhattan: 1st Ave. - 30th St. E.

First Avenue, east side, south from E. 30th Street, showing in the midground several units of Bellevue Hospital. First in appearance is the unit popularly known as the Morgue. South of same is the Chapel and other old portions of this medical center. Beyond appears the frame work of the new Out Patient Clinic building at 26th Street. Tenements seen in the foreground are to be demolished for the purposed Psychopathic unit. In View No. 2 this is accomplished the excavation has not started. September 10, 1928.
