Brooklyn: Meeker Avenue - Apollo Street

Meeker Avenue; between Apollo Street and Kingsland Avenue, showing the G. Gottfried Haupert house, on the Haupert farm. Mr. Armbruster states that the house was built about 1857 and was located on land belonging to the heirs of John Waters. According to Bromley's 1880 map of Brooklyn the waters property lay along both sides of Meeker Avenue, from Apollo Place to Kingsland Avenue. Eugene L. Armbruster, Collection 1922 views 1.2
