Queens: Little Neck Parkway - 72nd Avenue

Little Neck Parkway, east side, near 72nd Avenue, showing an old farmhouse which was owned by G. W. Walters in 1891 and was part of his 44 acre farm. Other buildings on the farm stood farther south and would now be at the S. E. corner of Little Neck and Motor Parkways. In 1909 the house in this view belonged to Philip Hoeffler and was part of a 56-acre farm. The view is north from near 73rd Avenue. View 2 is north on Little Neck Parkway from in front of the farmhouse. It bends eastward near Langston Avenue, below Grand Central Parkway. The house seen through the trees was part of the Hoeffler farm in 1909. March 1, 1927 View 1-2 P. L. Sperr
