Queens: Northern Boulevard - 162nd Street

Northern Boulevard, at the N.E. corner of 162nd Street, showing the local office--known as the Broadway-Flushing office--of the Rickert-Finlay Real Estate Company, when this neighborhood was still sparsely settled. The tracks are of the North Shore Division of the Long Island Railroad. When these photographs were taken Northern Boulevard, here, was called Broadway, hence the designation "Broadway-Flushing" for the company's local office. About 1909 Views 1,2
