Manhattan: 8th Avenue - 155th Street (West)

Eighth Avenue, at West 155th Street, viewing northeastward across the "El" station there, to the Bronx side of the Harlem River. At the left is the Polo Grounds. Crossing the River at about 158th Street, is the New York and Putnam Railroad Bridge. The photographers vantage point is the viaduct forming 155th Street. P. L.
