Manhattan: Monroe Street - Scammel Street

Monroe Street, west across Scammel Street, showing the westerly portion of the demolition for the government sponsored public housing project, Vladeck Houses. At the left, behind the tenements at the S.E. corner of Scammel Street, appears the Public School (No. 31) at Gouverneur Street. This will remain.
