Brooklyn: racetracks - Gravesend Race Track.

Gravesend Race Track (Brooklyn): Shown is a view of the remaining sheds of the Brooklyn Jockey Club's race track, which lay on the east side of McDonald Avenue, extending east to Ocean Parkway and north and south from slightly below Avenue U to Kings Highway. This photograph was taken from McDonald Avenue, just above Avenue U, and is in a north-easterly direction. The track in the foreground is of the B. M. T. system. April, 1923 Eugene L.
