(1) First Avenue, east side, north from E. 12th Street, showing the northerly end of this market area extending between East 9th and 14th Streets. In the Fall of 1938 this East Side feature will disappear as at that time the City of New York will open its Municipal Market at 10th Street and the Avenue.
