Queens: Broadway - Vernon Boulevard

Broadway, at the N. E. corner of Vernon Boulevard, showing an old farmhouse, dating back to pre-Revolutionary days. Eugene L. Armbruster states that this may have been Mayor Henry Debevoise's house, but that some disagreement exists whether it actually was. It was owned by Miss Bragar in 1841, and by C. W. Strang in 1873.
