Manhattan: Park Avenue - 34th Street

Park Avenue, east side, from 35th to 34th Streets, showing 15 and 17 Park Avenue on the S.E. corner of 35th Street. No. 15 is an apartment house; 17 is an apartment hotel. Both were designed, financed, and constructed by the Fred F. French Company. The house on the corner is the old 1 Park Avenue, the residence of Mrs. Robert Bacon, who at the time of this picture is contesting the use of this number with the new One Park Avenue Building, part of which is seen in the right background behind the tower of the Seventy-First Regiment Armory.
