Shown are tenement buildings bisected by the Manhattan Bridge approach, with a backdrop of municipal and financial structures. To the right are the former, circling Foley Square, and to the left are the four latter, bordering on Broadway. From left to right, the four predominating structures are: No. 120 Wall St. (American Sugar Refining) Bldg., the Sixty Wall Tower (No. 70 Pine Street), the Singer Bldg., and the Municipal Bldg. Behind the last appears a portion of the Woolworth Bldg. Thru the center and passing underneath the aforementioned approach, are the tracks of the Second Avenue Elevated Line.
