Brooklyn: New Dock Street - Water Street
New Dock Street, west side, north of Water Street, showing the northeast end of the yard which the W. P. A. is building for the Department of Purchase of the City of New York as part of the Brooklyn Bridge storehouse project under the Brooklyn Bridge. The broken concrete was very difficult to break up owing to the fact that old boiler tubes were used in place of reinforcing steel. Several nests of this pipe can be seen on the right. The thoroughfare seen is New Dock Street. December 7, 1936 Works Progress Administration Project 65-97-68
