Manhattan: 11th Street (West) - 4th Street
11th Street (originally Hammond Street), at S.W. corner of 4th Street (originally Lord knows what!), Greenwich Village. 258 West 11th Street, the little one-story studio adjoining the corner, is supposed to be really quite old ("very old" in Greenwich Village means about 1820 or earlier).
