Manhattan: Columbus Avenue - 59th Street (West)

Columbus Ave., east side, north from a point slightly north of West 59th Street. This thoroughfare after crossing this point loses its former identity as Ninth Ave. On the right is Kaskel's Pawn Shop (No. 9 Columbus Ave.) a well known feature of this area. November 25, 1937. P. L. Sperr.
