Brooklyn: Irving Avenue - Putman Avenue

(1) 400 Irving Ave., between Putman Ave., and Woodbine Street, showing the Bushwick High School, for which ground was broken on June 29, 1911; the corner stone laid March 12, 1912. (It was informally opened and occupied October 2, 1913, and formally on January 23, 1914. This school occupies a part of the site once the Union Cemetery (1850-1897). Negative reversed. 1922.
