51st Avenue, south side, between 11th and 21st Streets, viewing toward the latter and showing a scrap metal yard. This part of the thoroughfare and the yard were later obliterated and the new highway leading from the Queens-Midtown Tunnel thrown across here. November 22, 1938 New York City Tunnel Authority
