Manhattan: 6th Avenue - 30th Street (West)

Sixth Avenue, west side, north across West 30th Street. Under construction underground is a new municipal subway line. The elevated line will be demolished in early 1939. At the right appears the Hotel McAlpin. To the left is the 25 storied Greeley Building. This structure is at the N. W. corner of 31st Street. December 24, 1936 January 7, 1939 P. L.
