Queens: Jamaica Avenue - 160th Street

Jamaica Avenue, north side, east from 160th to 162nd Streets. The corner house is Crawford's liquor and wine place, specialising in Jos. Sallert beer and Schmidt's Kloster brau. The second house, with the hip roof, was the Richard Brush home from 1873 to 1876, now the Imperial Lunch Room. Some of the buildings were later razed or remodeled.
